The Story Behind Kind and Firm Parenting

Years ago, as a parent of a young child, I parented with what I knew at that time, the conventional
parenting style of using punishment and rewards.

When my daughter was in Kindergarten, I participated in my first Positive Discipline class, at her
     school.

Positive Discipline introduced me to a kind and firm parenting model (i.e., boundary setting in a         respectful way for all), and it positively changed my life.

My home environment became more peaceful and happy - communication improved.
It wasn't perfect, but I learned from Positive Discipline, that it's about progress, not perfection.

Since then, I strive to use Positive Discipline as much as possible, with my family, and in my life, in
     general.
I hope you will take the step to experience the power of Positive Discipline because it positively
     changes people's lives and it's helpful for all relationships - adult/child, child/child, adult/adult.
